A meeting was held at Baroda Corporate Centre between all the Welfare Associations of Bank of Baroda as well as Committee on Reservation

On 20th Oct, 2021 a meeting was held at Baroda Corporate Centre between all the Welfare Associations of Bank of Baroda as well as Committee on Reservation which has been constituted by Ministry of Finance, Government of India. From our side, Mrs. Sindhu Sonawane, President as well as the undersigned attended the same.
Mr. Kishor Kharat, Chairman of the committee explained all the welfare associations about the importance of the meeting & expectations from our end. We handed over our agenda to the committee and had fruitful discussion on the below mentioned points:-
1) Bifurcation of vacancies on the basis of caste
2) Disclosing the backlog vacancies consequent to each exercise
3) Promotional training exercise for Reserved category
4) Disclosing the marks obtained in interviews subsequent to each exercise
5) Relaxation in experience criteria for promotions under seniority channel
6) Representation of Reserved category candidates in decision making posts.
Myself as well as Sindhu Ma'am emphasised the following points:-
1) Marks under each parameter i.e. written/interview/educational qualifications etc. should be made available to all candidates in order to promote true and fair view.
2) All the candidates under reserved category i.e. SC/ST/OBC should be imparted training for similar no. of days i.e. 7 days at present.
3) Promotion circulars do not show the bifurcation of no. of seats amongst SC/ST/OBC candidates which needs to be shown separately again for a true and fair view.
The committee as well as all the other welfare associations everyone agreed to the above points after which the meeting ended on a cordial note and the committee took note of all the above mentioned points.
